Chateau Zhan — Guigong Core 鬼工核

-This piece is intricately openwork-carved from a single solid piece of zitan (Chinese rosewood), measuring only about 3-cm in diameter. Within, the inner layers are arranged in parallel, corresponding to the multiple celestial realms of Buddhist and Daoist cosmology, while embodying the philosophy of perceiving the vast within the minute.

The second layer is adorned with exceptionally fine gilt in scrolling vine motifs—indeed, this motif defines the entire core. Originating in Central Asia, the scroll pattern spread and took root along the Silk Road, where it was widely cherished, becoming a testament to early globalization.

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the purchase of products shall be resolved exclusively in Los Angeles County, California.
